I am trying to register my Exocet in Florida as a roadster, as it says in the Certificate of Origin. The FL DMV representative has determined from my paperwork and pictures that it can only be titled and registered for off-road use and not as a roadster. If any Florida Exocet owners have successfully titled their car as a roadster, please contact me. The FL DMV representative left it open if I could find 'proof' of previous titling/registration as a roadster.
If anyone has any general advice or had similar experiences in other states, please let me know and if possible how you managed to get past it.
