Hi, I am an Exocet G Type builder from England. I collected my kit yesterday & my first impressions are the same as you guys across the pond, this gearbox tunnel is better off in the scrap heap ! It nowhere near fits the chassis & is a sorry excuse for something which costs so much money. It makes you wonder sometimes, they can build a kick ass car but can't build a gearbox tunnel ! So many people complain about this panel & after thousands of chassis being built & sold, you thought that this gearbox tunnel would fit like a dream. I have contacted the manufacturers MEV (Stuart Mills is the car creator) & all you get is the tunnel is built on a big & will need a fair bit of pushing and pulling to get it to fit the chassis. Surely if this is the case the big needs re designing ? These kits are not cheap, if I sold sub par things like this at my company no one will come back. I am just going to throw my tunnel & make a new one that fits.
