Hello, all. I'm in the process of researching an Exocet build. I've owned a wide variety of cars including a 94 Miata B-package. I've also built an AR-51 minibuggy which is a bit more involved than an Exocet from a fabrication standpoint. I ride dual sport motorcycles and street bikes, and I see an Exocet as a safer and more useful motorcycle. It's less fabrication than a locost, and more fun than an engine swapped unibody.

I'd love to talk to anyone who has tackled the registration process in Tennessee too. I'm currently reading through the TN law provided by the SEMA Action Network link.

I think we have had some of our kits registered in Tennessee, I don't think it is too tough.

If you search "SliderR1 kit car" it says how he got his registered.

I would suggest watching the "building the exocet" YouTube videos, he seems to have a lot of good information about his build.
